Cancellations & Refunds
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. Our standard 24-hour appointment policy
For ordinary appointment changes and cancellations, please give Gimme ClubCare at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, the amount paid at booking will normally be refunded to the original payment method. If you prefer to rearrange, we may instead transfer that amount to a new agreed appointment.
For bookings over £10, the amount paid at checkout is normally a £10 booking deposit. If the total booking price is £10 or less, the full booking total is taken at checkout instead. We will never take a booking payment greater than the value of the booked service.
You can cancel an eligible booking through My Account or contact us at gimmeclubcare@gmail.com. This 24-hour policy is our standard appointment policy and does not limit any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have.
2. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, or do not attend or make the clubs available at the agreed time, the amount paid at booking is normally non-refundable. We will only retain an amount where permitted by law and where it is fair and proportionate to the loss caused by the cancellation, such as lost appointment time, costs already incurred or authorised work already undertaken. Your statutory rights are not affected.
3. Statutory 14-day cancellation rights
The 14-day statutory cancellation period is separate from our standard 24-hour appointment policy. Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply — for example, to many service contracts booked online, by phone or away from our business premises — you will normally have 14 days after the contract is made in which to cancel without giving a reason.
If you ask us to start providing the service during that 14-day period, we may begin once you have expressly requested this. If you then exercise a statutory cancellation right after work has begun but before the service has been fully performed, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already supplied.
If the service is fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may be lost where the legal requirements for your express request and acknowledgement have been met. Where statutory cancellation rights apply, they take priority over our standard 24-hour appointment policy.
To exercise a statutory cancellation right, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You may email gimmeclubcare@gmail.com or use the model cancellation wording below.
4. Grips, parts and special orders
Unused standard goods bought at a distance may carry statutory cancellation rights. A cancellation right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Once a grip or component has been fitted at your request, its condition and any service already supplied will be considered when determining the available remedy. Faulty, misdescribed or unsuitable goods remain covered by statutory rights.
5. Work already started
Tell us as soon as possible if you want work stopped. Where you have authorised us to begin work, you may be responsible for work already completed and, where legally applicable, parts or costs already committed. Any amount charged will remain subject to your statutory rights and the applicable consumer-law requirements.
6. Faulty goods or services
If a supplied item is faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose, or a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, contact us promptly. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the remedy may be repeat performance, repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
7. Refund method and timing
Refunds under our standard 24-hour appointment policy are returned to the original payment method for the amount actually paid at booking. Where you exercise an applicable statutory cancellation right, we will make any refund due without undue delay and within the period required by law. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the funds after we have processed the refund.
8. Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this wording, but you may copy and email it if you wish to exercise a statutory cancellation right:
